Makerspace Central MOVES Workforce Development Program
Calling all high school students who are curious about the exciting world of STEAM and want to gain real-world skills and more! Welcome to MOVES (Motivational Opportunities for Versatile & Engaging STEAM) -Makerspace Central's free summer high school focused workforce development program. MOVES focuses on providing 25 high school students real skills and credentials through an engineering design challenge centered around drones.

Students will build and test their drones over an 11 week period starting the week of June 1st and will demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and prototypes in a showcase day on August 15th. This showcase day will award an assortment of prizes to the student participants, in addition to the credentials and certificates earned throughout the program.
Student applications are now open through the end of May. No experience in engineering or drones required, just interest and curiosity. For more information, see the attachment for program logistics, application link, and student profile characteristics.
